Unfortunately, it's been a couple of weeks since my last posting because I have been ill with pneumonia! I discovered it takes the wind out of your sails, so to speak. If I am not making cards or doing needlework, then I am really sick! Now I am starting to feel better and want to (slowly) get back to my life!!
I decided to enter a card in a contest today: Our Daily Bread Shining the Light Challenge #238, a "Sketch" Challenge.
For those of you who don't know what a "Sketch" Challenge is, it's a template drawing of how the front of the card is designed and then you follow the design in making your own card.
It didn't take very long to come up with the color combination I wanted to use this time. I chose "Chocolate Chip" and "Crumb Cake" from Stampin' Up. I also chose a pink card stock from scraps that I save from larger pieces.
I added the sentiment "Bless You" on the front of the card and left the inside blank to write a note to the recipient.
On the inside of the card, I layered (first) pink, then "Crumb Cake" and punched out a heart in the lower right-hand corner.
I made a detailed list of supplies for this card below the photo.
